Friends of Father Ted festival underway on Inis Mór

The inaugural Friends of Father Ted festival is underway on the Aran Island of Inis Mór to mark the ninth anniversary of the death of Dermot Morgan - the star of the series.

All proceeds are going to Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiology Foundation.

This year a five-a-side football match on the beach will decide which of the Aran Islands will bear the Craggy Island title for the next 12 months.
