Dublin TD encourages NTL customers not to pay bills

The TD for Dublin North East is encouraging NTL customers not to pay their bills because of a charge the company is levying on those who do not pay by direct debit.

The TD for Dublin North East is encouraging NTL customers not to pay their bills because of a charge the company is levying on those who do not pay by direct debit.

From April all NTL customers who do not use direct debit will have to pay an extra €2 charge.

Martin Brady said it is unfair, adding, "They have offered a concession which is not acceptable to me and they said that they would exempt old age pensioners and social welfare recipients - that's not good enough."
