The Government has announced a donation of €750,000 to help flood victims in Mozambique.
Aid Minister Conor Lenihan said the money would be made available immediately to Irish NGOs and other international agencies working there.
Mr. Lenihan said 80,000 people had been forced to flee their homes in the southern African state as a result of torrential rains over the past two months.
