Anti-war protesters to picket Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis
The Irish anti-war movement is to hold a major protest outside the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis in City West in Dublin on March 24 next.
Back in 2003 more than 100,000 people marched in the capital against the war in Iraq.
The movement is opposed to what it says is the Irish Government's complicity with the US administration, in allowing Shannon Airport to be used for transporting soldiers and prisoners.
It is estimated that close to 650,000 people have been killed in Iraq during the past four years.
