Kerry Supt: Poor communication hampered rescue

A senior garda, Killarney Superintendent Michael Maher, has said poor communication infrastructure hampered Monday's emergency operation near Molls Gap.

There was no mobile phone coverage in the area which prevented communication between personnel at the scene of the fatal workplace accident and the personnel at Killarney garda station.
