A man from Dublin city centre who caused havoc for thousands of travellers when his false 'bomb' claim brought Dublin Airport to a standstill last July has been remanded for sentence by Judge Katherine Delahunt.

John McHugh, 49, of Mountjoy Square pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to knowingly making a false statement that he was in possession of an explosive substance on July 4, 2006.
