Man remanded for Dublin Airport 'bomb scare'
A man from Dublin city centre who caused havoc for thousands of travellers when his false 'bomb' claim brought Dublin Airport to a standstill last July has been remanded for sentence by Judge Katherine Delahunt.
John McHugh, 49, of Mountjoy Square pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to knowingly making a false statement that he was in possession of an explosive substance on July 4, 2006.
Judge Delahunt remanded McHugh on bail for sentencing later when evidence in the case will be heard.
