Kerry rapist has date set for sentence
A jailed Kerry rapist will be sentenced on Mary 26 by Mr Justice Kevin O'Higgins at the Central Criminal Court for attempted rape of a 17-year-old girl he met at a Killarney disco on Christmas Eve 2004.
James Cronin (aged 23), of Freemount, Rathmore, Co Kerry was found guilty by a jury on December 20 last of attempted rape of the teenager and with assault with intent to rape her in a laneway on December 24, 2004.
