Hospital consultants to resume talks with HSE next week

Hospital consultants are due to resume contract talks with the HSE next week.

However, representatives of the doctors have doubts that a deal can be struck before the March 27 deadline set down by the Government.

There has been no breakthrough despite around two years of talks.
