Reports: Govt to buy West-Link toll bridge this week
It is reported that the Government's purchase of the Dublin West Link toll bridge will be completed as early as this week.
The deal is costing the State more than €600m.
It will allow the barriers to be lifted on the M50, but motorists will still have to pay in a new system of barrier-free tolling.
The Government says the revenue raised will be put back into the roads programme.
