US envoy to the North to step down

The US envoy to the North, Mitchell Reiss, is to step down at the end of the month after three years in the job.

The US envoy to the North, Mitchell Reiss, is to step down at the end of the month after three years in the job.

He is being replaced by senior US State Department official Paula Dobriamsky.

She is currently serving Undersecretary of State for Domestic and Global Affairs, responsible for US policy on democracy, human rights and the environment.
