45-year-old man dies after being hit by car in Co Clare

A 45-year-old man has died after being struck by a car in Co Clare in the early hours of this morning.

The accident happened at around 2.30am near Ballymacloone in Quin.

Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following a separate road accident in Kilkenny yesterday afternoon.

The man was driving a motorcycle that collided with a car on the Callan Road at around 3pm.
