Gardaí to investigate botched Tralee bank robbery

An investigation is underway into a botched-robbery attempt at a bank in Tralee.

A man entered the EBS building on Russell Street at around mid-day carrying a bag and demanded money from a bank teller.

He grabbed a customer but fled on foot seconds after an employee pressed a panic alarm button to alert the gardaí.
