Blair aims to break deadlock with MI5 statement
British Prime Minister Tony Blair is set to detail MI5’s future role in the North in a new move to break the deadlock over republican support for policing.
He is to make a statement tomorrow outlining the type of work the intelligence agency will carry out when it assumes responsibility for security at the end of this year.
