Man arrested in connection with Kerry stabbing
A murder hunt was launched after a man was stabbed at a New Year's Eve house party.
One man, in his early 30s, was arrested and is being questioned by gardaí about the attack.
Gardaí were called to the house in Tralee, Co Kerry, last night after a row broke out.
The victim, in his mid 30s, was still alive when he was rushed to Kerry General Hospital, where he died from his injuries at around 10.30pm.
A post mortem examination is to be carried out today.
The murder scene remained sealed off for examination by Garda forensic experts.
