Sea rescue operation saves six off Inish Turk
Six people have been rescued from the sea off Inish Turk in Galway in the last hour.
It is understood that the curragh in which they were travelling was overturned in bad weather conditions and the emergency services were alerted just before midday.
A rescue operation was launched by Malin Head Coastguard and four people were picked up by Clifton Lifeboat.
Two others managed to make it to shore.
It is understood that two of the people are suffering from hypothermia.
