Farmers urged to be safety-aware over 'dangerous' Christmas period

Farmers are being urged to be extra vigilant around livestock and machinery over the Christmas period.

Research shows that this is the most dangerous time on farms - 16% of all fatal agricultural accidents happen over Christmas. Older farmers are particularly at risk.
