A woman and her 3 month old baby have been treated in hospital following a crash involving two trucks and four cars in north Cork.

A woman and her 3 month old baby have been treated in hospital following a crash involving two trucks and four cars in north Cork.

The pile-up happened at about 8pm yesterday evening on the Fermoy Bypass.

None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.

Meanwhile, six people were rushed to hospital after a mini bus and a car were involved in a collision near the Bee Hive pub on the main Dublin to Wexford road last night.

None of those involved were seriously injured, but traffic was delayed in the area for some time while emergency services attended the scene.
