Shots fired at Westmeath house

A family escaped injury after shots were fired at a house in Co Westmeath last night at around 9.45pm.

Damage was caused to the front windows of the house at Ballynaskeagh, Raharney.

Gardaí from Mullingar, Delvin and Killucan were called to the scene, which was sealed off for technical examination.
