Two dead following road crash in Co Antrim

Two young women are dead following a three-car road accident in Co Antrim.

It happened when three cars collided on the Ballybogy road near Portrush shortly after 2am this morning.

Police in the North have named the two victims as 23-year-old Claire Wakeland and 25-year-old Lisa McFerran, both from Rasharkin.

The road remains closed, and the PSNI are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
