Teen remanded in connection with shooting of sergeant
A teenager from the west of Ireland charged in connection with the shooting of a Garda sergeant in Dublin in September has been remanded on continuing bail by the Dublin Children’s Court.
The 16-year-old boy is charged with possessing a 12-gauge single-barrel breach-loading hammer shotgun, contrary to the Firearms Act 1964, and possession of two shotgun cartridges at Monasterboice Road in Crumlin on September 27, and a related offence for travelling as a passenger in a stolen vehicle.
