Report highlights ongoing under-representation of women

A new report from the Central Statistics Office has highlighted the ongoing under-representation of women in a range of areas.

The report, entitled 'Women and Men in Ireland, 2006', says women make up only 14% of TDs, 20% of local and regional authorities and 34% of membership on state boards.
