Deadline for electoral register changes expires later today

Voters who still have not checked their details on the electoral register are being urged to do so before the deadline for changes expires at the end of today.

The deadline was extended by the Department of the Environment earlier this year after it emerged that thousands of eligible voters had been struck off during a countrywide campaign to update the register.
