Gardaí in Dublin have released the two men arrested earlier this week in connection with the murder of Latvian woman Baiba Saulite last month.
The pair, who are believed to be from Lebanon, were arrested in separate parts of Dublin on Tuesday morning, but were released without charge today pending instructions from the DPP.
They were apparently suspected of having information about the killing of Ms Saulite, who was shot dead at her home in Swords on November 19.
The 28-year-old mother-of-two had recently given evidence in an abduction case against her estranged husband, Lebanese man Hassan Hassan, who is in prison for his role in the organised theft of luxury cars.
Her solicitor in that case had fled his home after receiving threats to his life.
