Childminders' exemption rate raised to €15,000

The income tax exemption rate for childminders has been raised to €15,000 in Budget 2007, as part of a package of measures aimed at those with and caring for children.

In addition, €1m per year has been allocated to the Teen Parent Support Scheme.
