Ex-boyfriend gets life imprisonment for Cork murder

A sentence of life imprisonment was imposed today on the man who murdered his teenaged ex-girlfriend in Cobh last July.

Thomas Kennedy, 21, of 84 Russell Heights, Cobh, County Cork, did not speak and his lawyers said nothing on his behalf as he was sentenced for murdering Sheola Keaney, 19, on a date between July 14 and July 16 at Cobh.
