27 jobs cut at Clare factory despite expansion plans

27 jobs are to go at a Co Clare Plastics Factory despite the company’s plans for expansion, it emerged this afternoon.

Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Ireland announced a €3m investment in manufacturing at its Kilrush plant this afternoon, securing the future of 72 jobs.
