Red cross donate €20,000 to typhoon victims

The Irish Red Cross is donating €20,000 to those affected by Typhoon Durian in the Phillipines.

The funds will help provide blankets, food, drinking water and medical supplies for the area south of Manila.

It's now feared that up to one thousand people have been killed and hopes of finding any more survivors are fading.
