Gardaí identify victim of Inchicore assault

Gardaí have identified the man who was the victim of a serious assault in Dublin last night.

The 21-year-old from Inchicore was badly beaten and is in a serious condition in St James Hospital with injuries to his head and face.

Gardaí are continuing to appeal for people who may have witnessed the attack.

They want to speak to anybody who was in the Tyrconnell Road or Tyrconnell Park area between 9.50pm and 10.15pm last night.
