A man was killed last night after being hit by a car as he crossed the N4 near Leixlip, Co Kildare.

A man was killed last night after being hit by a car as he crossed the N4 near Leixlip, Co Kildare.

Gardaí said the accident happened at about 10pm and have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
