Woman dies following road accident in North Dublin

A woman in her forties has died following a crash in Dublin.

It happened at around twenty past one this afternoon on the Malahide Road in Coolock.

Her scooter collided with a truck.

She was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

A northbound section of the Malahide Road between UCI and the Darndale Roundabout has closed as a result of the accident and diversions have been put in place.
