Man recovering after Kinsale Harbour rescue

A man was rescued from Kinsale Harbour this morning after falling into the water at Scilly Walk.

Kinsale inshore lifeboat was notified by Valentia coastguard, and the man was rescued from the rocky shorefront within about 20 minutes.

He was taken to hospital for treatment for hypothermia and was said to be making a good recovery.
