Prosecution alleges defendant intended to kill murder victim
The man accused of murdering a Portuguese national put on steel toe-capped para-boots before joining others for an assault on the victim, it was claimed today as the trial opened in Cork.
The Central Criminal Court is sitting in Cork for the trial of Stuart Spicer, 32, who denied the charge of murdering Sergio Abreu at Clashanahy, Ardmore, Co Waterford, on September 6/7, 2002.
