No injuries reported in overnight Dublin shooting
Gardaí in Dublin are investigating a shooting, which occurred in the early hours of this morning.
Shortly after midnight a red hatchback car pulled up outside a house in Rathfarnham, and a male passenger got out.
He fired a shot through the front window of the house on Carrickmount Avenue. The car then drove off down Mountainview Park towards Nutgrove Shopping Centre.
The house was occupied at the time of the shooting but nobody was injured. The scene has been sealed off this morning for gardaí to carry out a technical examination.
