Four detained following Limerick shooting incident

Four youths have been arrested after they were involved in a high speed car chase with gardaí in Limerick last night.

The emergency response unit was called in after the youths fled the scene of a shooting at a house in Carew Park at about 10pm.

They were chased for nearly an hour before being apprehended at Banogue on the Cork road.

The four, all in their late teens, are being detained at Henry St and Roxboro garda stations.
