Judgement reserved in case of couple accused of kidnapping grandson

Mr Justice Michael Peart has reserved judgement in the extradition case involving a Co Cork couple who're accused of kidnapping their grandson from Chicago over two years ago.

Timothy and Ethel Blake from Cobh face a charge each of aggravated kidnapping the then nine year old boy if they're surrendered to the US authorities.

Their lawyers have today said no formal extradition request has been made by the US authorities.

The judge said he would mention the case on the 16th of November.
