The Dublin fire brigade has been battling a major blaze at a factory in the docklands overnight.

Two grain silos at the plant on Alexander Rd caught fire just before 9pm.

Fourteen units of the fire brigade were dispatched to the scene, along with the harbour police.

The roof of the building is understood to have caved in, but the fire is now under control.
