Man dies in second fatal Dublin stabbing this weekend
Investigations are underway following a fatal stabbing in Dublin last night in which a 33-year-old man lost his life.
Gardaí were called to a disturbance at Tyrone Place in Inchicore shortly after 8pm. On arrival they discovered a 33-year-old man suffering from serious injuries.
He was taken to nearby St James's Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. A post mortem examination is expected to be carried out later today.
The scene has been sealed off as an investigation continues. It's the second such incident in Dublin this the weekend.
Yesterday, 23-year-old Anthony McGrath died following a fatal stabbing in a house Blanchardstown in the early hours of the morning.
A 35-year-old man detained by gardaí over the incident was later released.
