Teen seriously hurt in bottle attack

A 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital following a serious assault in Co Armagh, it was confirmed today.

Police in Portadown are appealing for information after the incident occurred in the Annagh Bridge area around 8.30pm last night.

The PSNI said the teenager is in a serious condition in hospital with head and arm injuries.

The 15-year-old was struck on the head by what is believed to be a bottle. It is believed two men were involved in the incident.

Detectives are investigating possible motives for the attack and have appealed for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
