SIPTU calls for unity between Irish and immigrant workers
Workers should unify to prevent employers displacing Irish employees and exploiting vulnerable migrants - that's the message at the SIPTU regional conference taking place in Killarney today.
More than 450 delegates are attending the conference which is discussing such topics as redundancy, multiculturalism and exploitation.
SIPTU General Secretary Joe O'Flynn said today that the union is actively recruited membership among migrant workers.
