Teenager dies from car crash injuries

A 19-year-old has died in hospital from injuries he sustained in a road crash in Clonmel on Thursday.

James Cassin from Wilderness Grove in Clonmel was driving a motorbike which collided with a car at Jackson's Cross on Cahir Road in the town.

He was taken to Cashel hospital, and then transferred to Cork University Hospital, where he lost his battle for life late yesterday evening.
