Cadbury Ireland has been working on a restructuring plan that could see job losses among the firm's 1500 workforce in Dublin and Kerry.

Cadbury Ireland has been working on a restructuring plan that could see job losses among the firm's 1500 workforce in Dublin and Kerry.

The confectionary giant has run into difficulties over it's rising cost base, including soaring energy prices and salary and pension commitments.

A spokesperson has confirmed that they are working on a restructuring plan to ensure the company remains competitive.

Cadbury has operated in Ireland since 1932.
