Another massive drug seizure in Dublin

Heroin worth an estimated €2m has been recovered on Clondalkin in West Dublin.

Gardaí seized the drug when they stopped and searched a car at Cherrywood Crescent, Clondlakin at around half nine last night.

An estimated 10 kilogram’s of the drug was found in the car as well as a quantity of cash.

A man and a woman who were in the car have been arrested. Another woman was arrested during a follow-up operation in Kilcronan Grove.

All three are being detained at Ronanstown and Clondalkin garda stations under drug trafficking legislation.

The operation was co-ordinated by gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
