Govt publishes bill to overhaul citizens information services

Social and Family Affairs Minister Seamus Brennan has published a new bill aimed at overhauling citizens information services.

The proposed legislation will establish a Citizens Information Board to oversee the provision of information about rights and services.

The body will be chaired by Chris Glennon, a former political correspondent with the Irish Independent.
