Family of missing Waterford woman to make public appeal
The family of a 35-year-old woman who has been missing for almost a fortnight are to make an appeal for help from members of the public today.
Margaret 'Meg' Walsh, a native of Co Cork, disappeared from her home in the Ballinakill Downs are of Waterford on Sunday, October 1st.
Her car was found abandoned two days later, while a blood-stained mat from the vehicle was also discovered dumped nearby.
Gardaí have confirmed that the blood was that of Ms Walsh.
An intensive search over the past two weeks has failed to turn up any sign of the 35-year-old and her family is due to make a public appeal today in the hope of achieving a breakthrough.
