McDowell awaiting answers from Ahern
The Tánaiste Michael McDowell is understood to have presented the Taoiseach yesterday with a series of questions concerning the controversial 1994 Manchester dinner.
The two men met to discuss new information about the matter, which the PDs have in their possession.
Political Correspondent with the Sunday Business Post, Pat Leahy said the coalition will not break up over this latest incident.
“I think it's more likely that it's not quite the final nail in the coffin,” he commented. “There may be a handful more nails to go but I don't think there's any doubt that it is a coffin they're making out of it.”
