Tánaiste Michael McDowell has today rejected opposition claims that he has reached a secret deal with the Taoiseach to keep the current Government in power.

Tánaiste Michael McDowell has today rejected opposition claims that he has reached a secret deal with the Taoiseach to keep the current Government in power.

The claims have been made by the opposition after Mr McDowell softened his stance on the controversy surrounding payments to Bertie Ahern in 1993 and 1994.
