A man was shot dead in Dublin tonight.

A man was shot dead in Dublin tonight.

The 30-year-old man was gunned down as he stood on a footpath at Bunting Road, Walkinstown.

His body remains at the scene which has been preserved for technical examination.

Detectives from Crumlin Garda station are investigating.
