The Methodist Reverend Harold Good has said that acceptance of law and order by Sinn Féin would remove the last obstacle to restored devolution in the North.

The Protestant church leader warned that Republicans will only accept policing if it paves the way for local government by the November 24th deadline.

He is urging the DUP not to impose any more pre-conditions and is urging all parties to 'move on'.

The Reverend, who witnessed last year's IRA decommissioning, said that there was no doubt the action was sincere.
