Brazilian man due in court in connection with Cork murder

A 43-year-old Brazilian man is due in court today in connection with a murder in county Cork three days ago.

47-year-old Alberto Do Prado Oliveira - also from Brazil - was found stabbed to death at an apartment in Charleville on Thursday night.

Gardaí arrested a man in connection with the death early yesterday, and he will appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court this afternoon.
