Dead body may be that of missing Polish man

Gardaí in Co Kildare are investigating whether a body found in Naas last night might be that of a young Polish man who has been missing for 10 days.

The body of a man in his 20s was found on wasteground on the Lakelands estate near Naas General Hospital at around 7pm.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination, while a post mortem will also be carried out later today to determine the cause of death.
